I recall demonstrating how we could use LaTeX itself to generate the
required information. This could either be done once (to actually
generate the header file which is then put in LyX CVS or at least LyX
dist.tar.gzes), or, in principle, it could be done at run-time
whenever an unknown LaTeX command is seen.
