This an incompatibility between lyx < 1.1.6 and xforms >= 0.89.5.

AFAIK, this is solved now.

This is for lyx 1.1.4. I know that several clipboard problems have
been fixed since then, so I would think you can close it.

I think this one is known. What has been done about it (tab too long
in german ==> crash).

Baruch> Errors handling 'Paragraph' type paragraphs

Could you send the example file?

Other ones:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=69483

It is also quite old, and the strace just shows LyX writing its
emergency file. Not very useful. Some bugs like that have been fixed
since 1.1.4.

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=107117

This guy is using a file like

\documentstyle{article}
\input preamble

\begin{center}
...

\end{document}

So presumably the \begin{document} is hidden in the preamble. I do not
think reLyX ever intended to handle such bad structure. IMO this is
WONTFIX.

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=115034

The use of geometry package is fixed in 1.2.0cvs and somehow fixed in
1.1.6fix4cvs.
