It works here! On Xfce windowmanager (I'm not core developer, though). At least the idea works. I don't like the result: Windowtitle: "LyX: ~/docs/myDocument.lyx" Icontitle: "LyXmyDocument.lyx" Don't glue "LyX" with the doc-filename for the icon. That's confusing. Add a space or a colon inbetween. In my case even "LyX" is redundant, since I have the LyX icon already (but that apparently seems not to be the case with all windowmanagers). Thanks. Rob.
