...but then, by using psfrag, I've abandoned the lovely LyX mathed.
And mathed is one of my favourite bits of LyX.  I'm especially looking
forward to trying the new postscript-computer-modern version of
mathed. (No, I haven't tried LyX CVS yet, more's the pity)
