beginning to hate...

I am trying to clean up the Makefiles to use automake more correctly,
but now qt2 especially is using a very convoluted build scheme...

- pre-build in ui dir
- this strange Makefile.dialogs
- xforms, ui, ui/moc moc

can someone please explain to me why all these dirs are necessary.
