Yep, here too. I think there may be a list of problems with tooltips in a tabbed dialog. E.g: when moving the dialog-window to somewhere else, will pop up the tooltips as if the dialog has not been moved. This and your problem do not exist in untabbed dialogs, such as the BibTeX Database dialog. Do the Xforms-devel people know about this? Rob.
