I have doubts...
But I am also glad that you are looking at this.
My doubt goes in what direction we really want all these dispatch and
lfun stuff to be going.
Several dispatch functions scattered all over... a system where
(sub-)modules register lfuns with a special main dispatch system...
So the question is the whether this really clean up stoff or just make
it hared to transition to another system later...
