Can you then tell me what's the point of having a Show check button
in the Prefs, if Graph has a Show button that's either On/Off, which
ALWAYS overrides the Prefs.
There's no point in having a setting in Prefs that's always overriden!

Don't tell me to replace the Show check button in Graphs by yet another
choice button [on/off/default]; then we would turn the display control
into a real beast with bizar logic!

I believe there are too many ways of interpreting the display settings
with four control widgets (2 in prefs and 2 in graph).

Sorry, but apparently I still don't get the logic right :(.

Cheers,
Rob.
