Though, good point you made earlier: why does one need to create a login account for filing a bug report. People (like me) are totally fed up with creating login names & passwords for every little tidbit on the web. How about, for example, Grace's bug handling? (see: http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Grace/) Everyone can file bug reports without the use of username/password. These bugs are immediately listed and later marked by a bug core team as "Ignored", "Working on", "Closed" etc. It seems to work just fine! I myself won't file a bug report when loginname/password is required! It's too much of a nuissance. Cheers, Rob.
