Lyx's first try to load the picture will start loading it. That is to say, we can not 'load bitmap directly' without waiting for them to be loaded. Anyway, it is possible to refresh the screen until all visible insets are loaded. I will try if this looks better. (Modify previewReady to return true only when all visible insets are loaded.) -- Bo Peng
