Hmm.. so it's fixed for instant preview. I've never used that function,
but I think that instant previews aren't instant-instant, if you know
what I mean. I.e. would it keep me from doing this stupid sequence?

I'm going to try and get instant preview running, but if that's not
enough, should I add a comment to 819, or file a separate thing?
As for solutions, the problem 819 discusses is that the space (that
doesn't really exist) is too big, whereas I'm primarily concerned with the
position of the cursor. Here it would be enough to "shift" the cursor a
bit to the left when just behind a math-inset. Although that seems a bit
like a hack, if it's really the math border that takes up space.
And also... fiddling a bit with it just now, it *is* annoying that you
can't tell if there is a space next to the math-inset or not... (that
might actually get a bit better if the cursor position was adjusted).
