No, I was imagining that lyx would use it behind the scenes, just as it uses lyx2lyx. Your out-of-date xdvi option would remain for ever-more as `lyxclient -c 'server-goto-file-row %f %l'` and lyx would auto-magically translate this to whatever new syntax it liked. I have already changed a huge number of lyx commands in the 1.4.x series and am feeling a little guilty ;-) -- Angus
