It is because it also creates a new citation inset (and that opens the find 
dialog). IMO this behaviour is ok because you have to open that dialog anyway 
(the "add" button is the only button that can be pressed in that case except 
"close"). But if you tell me how to supress the find dialog after apply, I 
can also change the behaviour.
