It is still there:
- Open acroread/acrobat without any pdf loaded
- Create a new LyX-document and save the file
- now use View->pdflatex
As result acrobat is opened but no pdf was produced in the working
directory and you get therefore an error message.
If acrobat wasn't opened before creating the lyx-file no all works fine.
- now add a charcter in the LyX-file, so that you have e.g. "abcd"
- use the menu View->Update->pdflatex
As result nothing happens, the pdf wasn't changed
- use the menu View->pdflatex
As result acrobat comes up showing the old version of the pdf with
"abc". the pdf in the working directory wasn't changed.

Also still there. The same error message appears also for Export->DVI,
and Export->PostScript.

Now a minor issue:
The menu Help->About LyX says:

At last a question: what is the difference between Export/View->DraftDVI
and Export->DVI?
