With my firefox it just works.

That was the problem. Cookies are needed. So you should give a hint on
the webpage.
Isn't there another possibility to implement such things without
cookies? - I'm not a fan of cookies as every site adds some for
advertising. E.g go to yahoo.com and look what kind of cookies are
stored; that's why I deactivate cookies by default.
