This part could go in the respective READMEs. We should add some
linkage to these readme files in the announcement.

I think README.MacOSX should be renamed to INSTALL.MacOSX. Bennett, do
you think a README.MacOSX would be useful?

As I indicated before, I agree README.MacOSX should be renamed to INSTALL.MacOSX.

Perhaps it would be helpful to have a README.MacOSX that simply points to the wiki page? That way we only need update one thing.
