I suspect I found the reason for this problem... it's my mailer, mutt, that I used. There is a setting 'send_charset' that defaults to "us-ascii:iso-8859-1:utf-8". I haven't yet completely figured out why, but suspect that there's a Norwegian char somewhere, together with Juergen's u-umlaut. Anyway I'll change my setting. - Martin
