No, the preferences file isn't copied to the ~\Application Data\LyX
folder. Every user can have its own preferences.
That's not quite what I meant. What I meant was:
If you have a preferences file in
C:\Progrm Files\LyX\Resources\lyx
and I tune my preferences, creating a preferences file in
C:\Documents and Settings\Angus\Application Data\LyX
will my new preferences file contain all the tweaks that are in your
original, or are these now lost. Because I do know that only the second,
user preferences file will be read now that it exists.
