Der lyx develop team,
Thank you for providing such a beautiful software to me. I found
that the
new version of lyx cannot do the same way as the older one for
lable the
equation. When I want to lable the equation, the older one will pop
up the
dialogue window and auto fills like "eg:", while the new verion
doesn't have
such fills "eg:", and it's blank. I am wondering how can I get such
auto-fills back in the new version or would you please tell me how
to set up
such auto-fills for labeling equation? Appreciate your work.

I can confirm this behaviour for 1.4pre3 on Mac OSX. In contrast
figure labels work fine. Could this be related to http://
bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=694 ?
