Jürgen, about the routine stripLeadingSpaces in paragraph.C: could you
comment on precisely what this is doing? It is the following
// Set Change::Type to Change::INSERTED to quietly remove it
setChange(0, Change::INSERTED);
erase(0);
that is causing the second problem reported by you. I suspect this code
is your handywork ;-)
erase(0) does honour change tracking. But what you do here subverts
that, intentionally. What was the original reason for introducing it?
Can we get rid of it?
