babel error after switching document language - Lyx 137

Hi,

Maybe that is a bug. If it's known, or mended, or intended, forget this 
post.

I start a new document (paper) with language English, write something 
and compile with no error. I change the document language to German and 
try to compile again, but this time I get the error message:

        Package babel Error: You haven't loaded the option english yet.
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]

        You may proceed, but expect unexpected results

If I save and open open again, the document compiles o.k.
