It is already at 249, and lyx2lyx works. Look at the sources ;-) Apart from that a format change is never as simple as changing the constant in buffer.C, you always have to include the lyx2lyx stuff, too. I have no idea where your problems come from, but you can easily check the encoding of the LyX files with any decent editor to rule that possibility out. Georg
