Concerning section 1.4.2 of Extended LyX features: Tried it, didn't work.
I loaded my master document (the location of the label), opened the
"Insert->cross-reference" window, and then tried to switch to the document
where I would like the cross-reference to appear. (I was following the
directions: "Now switch the document to B without closing the cross-reference
popup.")
But the cross-reference popup disappeared when I switched to my "B" document.
Is there another way?
