In earlier lyx versions it was necessary, when writing the text
_L_aTeX (with L underlined), to enclose the L in ert (red) curly
brackets, like this {_L_}aTeX or like that _L_{}aTeX. Otherwise, the
string "LaTeX" would be translated (by a too clever mechanism we have
to eventually remove) to \underline{\LaTeX}.
This is not necessary anymore, since the string translation only
occurs now when all the characters are in the same font. You can
therefore remove these annoying {} from your documents.
