Will a kind sould review these changes? As for the User Guide, they seem very reasonable. As with the german User Guide I tried to stay as close to the english version, except for mistakes and things that had obviously been changed. I also include a copy of the english Extended that came with LyX 1.2, where I added notes (Insert>Note) wherever I found mistakes or something questionable things. All my notes start with "HHa:". As a result of the revision of german Extended I revised german User Guide again. I include that one, too. Regards, Hartmut P. S. Don't you believe that section 2.4 (Setting Up the X Keyboard) of the User Guide is somehow obsolete nowadays? On PC's you don't do that anymore because every Linux distribution will do that for you, and Unix systems ought to be properly configered, too.
