Dear all at [EMAIL PROTECTED], I would like to ask about the hungarian (offically "Magyar") translation. When was it removed? How can it readded to the distrobution?
Earlier I started to do some translation into hungarian, but I had some other work and I stopped it. Now it seems that I will have more free time. I checked a few days ago the status of the translation, and I discovered that it is the state I have seen it one year ago. I see there are various thing to translate, such as main web pages (esp. some basic info), .po files and the main thing: the help files. I did search two times to find some hungarian www page of the LyX, without any success. Thus I started translating the www pages. It is not yet finished, but it is ONLINE on a free (thus there are some advertising titles) web space (I do not own server). The ww pages are online, but some are missing, some are not working because of naming conventions. I corrected a few to work at least the main pages. It can be found at: http://lyx.tvn.hu (can be linked, but a banner will appear) http://lyx.tvn.hu/index2.php (can be linked, without banner ) I will do translating these pages, until I will have more information on the others, thus the work I do will not be redundant. I have sent an email to the official hungarian translator and I waiting his answer. Should I continue my work? I would like to ask about the www pages: How the official translations will handled? Is it posibble to rename the .php3 files to .php? Maybe, instead of the .php3 files to make something else e.g. ".x.php"? I had some trouble installing to the server.
