Hello,
I have seen posts asking how to convert LyX into MS Word
with tex4ht often recommended as a solution. Adobe Acrobat
Writer Pro with Acrobat Reader is another collaborative type
software, also proprietary. I found a couple of free softwares
for Linux, but none for Windows for adding comments to ps
and pdf docs. That has changed and flpsed is available for
Windows/Cygwin. Since LyX can save as .ps, flspsed seems
a higher fidelity approach.
This message may appeal more to the tech writer side of LyX
docs members but I think the volume on this mailing list may
allow some latitude. Also I think that there might be a better fit
if the port is implemented with MINGW since LyX Windows
is currently an Msys download. This idea works better for those
who prefer a more disciplined approach than using Wiki. I've
decided to await some feedback before providing perhaps
obtrusive how to add to toolbox details. I discovered this
because I have the old 1.3.1 Cygwin LyX installed with an
X server, which I found first before the new 1.3.6 native win32.
Best regards,
Stephen
