Can this be applied?

I haven't read this through, but I can at least confirm that it works (i.e., generates dvi). And from just skimming through it, it looks good. Good work, Ran!

So Uwe, if you need that other vote for committing, you've got mine. Thanks!

Just two small points, if Ran wants to fix them fine, if not this can be committed as-is as far as I'm concerned:

*) The very first word in Section 1.1 (LyX) is slightly off: it's not totally right-aligned, and on the other hand, there's no space between it and the next word. This is due to one of the fixes introduced by Georg recently, see the thread http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.editors.lyx.devel/80783 for more details. To fix this, just select the space between "LyX" and the following word, and mark it as English (F12). It's easier to see what's going on now that spaces are marked as belonging to a foreign language, (as of beta-3, so if your spaces are *not* marked as foreign, upgrading to beta-3 should fix that). (How this issue should be solved in general is still up in the air, see the thread pointed out above. Any opinions on the subject are welcome.)

*) There are a few places where the alignment is a bit off, due to overfull lines (it's quite possible that this is font-dependent; Ran, if you don't see these problems --- I believe you're using a different font than me --- then just forget it; there's no point in fixing it.). These can be fixed by inserting a manual break where appropriate: just do ctrl-l (ERT) immediately after the word where you want the break, and insert the "\break" command. I noticed the following places where this should be done: - Item beginning with LyX in the list at the end of Section 1, break between בכל and תפארתה.
 - First line in Section 3.2.1
