Indeed. I fixed this now.

Many thanks, I fixed this now and additionally added the German shortcut Alt-z 
c for mathtt.

Yes, this was my fault as this behaviour is new in LyX 1.5.

Nothing this is a regression bug of LyX 1.4 to 1.5. I will report this as bug and state this is the documentation.

This is correct. The footnote states: "for more about \left and \right see sec. 5.1.2" There you find the explanation that the dots are the placeholders for the omitted delimiters.

I'll commit the fixed files as soon as I have again internet at home and inform 
you.
