What do you mean? The Tutorial states
"Change the section “About this Document” to a subsection, and the cross-reference will reference
Subsection 2.1 instead of Section 3."
So there's nothing said about the rendered text, only that the cross-reference now references
subsection 2.1 and this is correct.
