Apologies as I am not certain this is the address I should post this to, nonetheless two quick things:
(1) Lyx is truely great! I am a master student studying in Germany and I believe our class 20+ students are shifting to the Lyx approach. (2) This said, I've been using Lyx for a few months now and have grown to love it, HOWEVER, I have two very important suggestions and I hope it may be possible to incorporate these features in the near future. (a) something I appreciated in Word was the option to have it show me as I type mis-spelled words and suggested corrections. I'd personally rather correct as I go this aspect of my writing, rather than at the end. (b) tables... everyone seems to agree that the outstanding set-back and frustration in lyx is the table interface. I'm sure you've heard more input on this topic, so I'll refrain, but if you have questions on what I mean I would definitely continue the dialog. That is all. Thanks again for a great effort, superior product, and your time and consideration.
