Not sure - I didn't get that problem when I did the exercises recently
as part of updating the Tutorial. Will have another look at it.

Use Return to end paragraphs; in some cases this will end the
environment - for example, a heading is normally a single paragraph; in
others, like Verse, it puts extra space between one line and another, so
creating a separate stanza. (In other words, you don't use it as a
carriage return.)

Use Control-return to break lines, for example, in Verse and Address
environments.

Not sure about Command-return or Option-return - my hunch is that they
will be mapped to one of these two but someone else may know better.
