We can change the senence as you proposed but I think that this is just a matter of taste. Some
don't like "Wäre..., wäre...." as well as "Hätte..., hätte Fahrradkette." ;-) You know what I mean.
Meine ersten Schritte mit LaTeX habe ich unter TeXMaker im Rahmen
einer Studienarbeit vollzogen. Nun plane ich, meine Masterarbeit mit
TeX zu verfassen - heißt: LaTeX - mit LyX (oder TexMaker).
Good to hear. For your master thesis I recommend that you use LyX's thesis template that you find in
LyX's installation filder under "~\Resources\examples\thesis".
You are using LyX 2.0.6. Before you start your thesis you should update to LyX 2.0.7 or wait a week
and use either LyX 2.0.8 or the brand new LyX 2.1.0.
