“intro.pdf”.)
Is there a more recent version?
Near the end of section 2.2 of the 2006 version, you say:
"LATEX configuration
LYX investigates your system upon installation. This file contains info
on what LYX learned about your installation. Check it to see if you’re
missing something you might like to have. "
But I can’t tell how to find this LaTeX configuration file.

should update the documentation on our web site :)
