Hi Eberhard,,

It would be pretty easy to do, but I'm not sure if there's any
consequence/risk involved in directly posting links to files on our server.
I'm e.g. thinking of the (admittedly slight) risk of bad people using our
FTP for sharing bad files - it's been some time since I've thought of
topics like this.

However, perhaps the following would be enough of an improvment?

Instead of:
    uploads/PersonalChr/exampleFiles/equations.lyx
we have (as plain text):
    wiki.lyx.org/uploads/PersonalChr/exampleFiles/equations.lyx

It's not one click, but still pretty easy to copy and paste into the
address bar?

What do you think?
Christian
