Well, put all your modifications in a file named whatever.sty, put
this file in a place where LaTeX can find it (either in your
/usr/lib/texmf hierarcchy or in the directory where your document is),
and add to your LaTeX Preamble (in the Layout menu) the line:
\usepackage{whatever}
