I have a suggestion about the import/eport functions (LyX 0.12.1pre8).
When you import from LaTeX (a fine function for us ol'LaTeX addicts)
a subdocument (a chapter by itself for example), it fails.
Would it be complicated to encapsulate it with a minimal
LaTeX stuff, like
\documentclass{report}
\begin{document}
.....
imported stuff
.....
\end{document}
Easy to to by hand with ONE chapter, but tedious with a collection...
Same request for export: could be useful to export without
preamble nor document environment. LyX can thus be used as a LaTeX code
generator, providing stuf to be included as is other documents.
Perhaps this is already in the 1.0.0 :-)
