With version 1.3, there is not title added by the thebibliography
environment as LaTeX does. This means that you can add your own
section title before the bibliography items. Of course, this only
makes sense with bibliography that has been typed by hand.
I do not know of a good solution for this problem when one uses
bibTeX.
