Hi:
I encounter a problem in lyx-1.0.1 on i386 Linux RedHat 5.2. In
math mode, if I hit <Meta-c b>(on my keyboard <Alt-c b>) to enter a bold
character, according to the UserGuide.lyx, I should be able to hit <Meta-c
Space> to return to default (italic) mode. Well, it does not work on my
system.
Do I misunderstand the way UserGuide put it or is it a bug? It
also happens to switching between calligraphic and default characters.
Somehow, if I fumble around, like moving the cursor or put in
extra +- sign, then it switches back to default characters. This is kind
of inconvinient if I am typing in a long equations involving a lot of
vetors. :(
Anyway, I still need to congratulate the LyX team on passing the
1.0 milestone and give us the ultimate weapon in writing complex papers.
:)
