I use tth, and am quite pleased with it.  It even covers a portion of my
AMS-LaTeX special features, and gives reasonable html, with symbols and
other math markups.

Look on http://www.lehigh/edu/~dlj0/23f98.html  to see some examples of
LyX files converted with tth.  From LyX, all I did was export to LaTeX,
then ran the tth filter and posted it.  There are a few extraneous bits
here and there which can be edited away if you are less lazy than I am.

Some people used to claim that, if enough monkeys sat in front of enough
typewriters and typed long enough, eventually one of them would reproduce the 
collected works of Shakespeare.  The internet has proven this not to be the 
case.
