Dear lyx users,
I'm currently trying to make a glossary in
a LyX document (Thesis) and I have checked the
mailing list archive about this matter without
finding a hint.
I have tried to use the "nomenclature" package V2.2
(based on makeidx). When I export my LyX document
as LaTeX, and run latex then makeindex then latex,
everything works fine.
Unfortunately, it isn't that simple in LyX.
LyX doesn't seem to recognize
that the nomenclature package is based on
makeidx and therefore it doesn't run the
makeindex command. Moreover, I can't run the
makeindex command from outside LyX since I
do not have (a simple) access to the *.glo files
which are written in a temporary directory.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there
an easier way to handle glossaries?
