This seems to be a common problem.
I have installed the latest version of LyX and xform 0.88. The libraries
are in /usr/lib and fdesign works fine. Every time I run
./configure --with-extra-lib=/usr/bin I get the same results "** Can't find
libforms or libxforms". A previous post stated the same symptons and a
reply was to try /sbin/ldconfig. That did not work either. Any new
developments to this problem?
