Hi,
after using LyX 0.12 successfully, I wanted to try LyX 1.0,pre2.
The installation looks successful, but the result is unusable.
The desktop appears O.K., the menu seems to function.
However, using any Help item results in segmentation fault.
I can open a new document, but saving results again in a segmentation
fault.
Similarly, Options|Reconfigure
./lyx
sh: option `-c' requires an argument
Segmentation fault
Something is wrong with the file select dialog.
Clicking on 'Home','Documents' and 'Examples' sets the correct
directory,
but no files are listed, independently from the extension of the
'Pattern',
although the files are there. I cannot open any .lyx or .tex file.
The subdirectories are now shown, I can only navigate upwards.
When I write in directly the name of the directory I need,
it replies with
Warning! could not open directory
dir. name
Success
