Hi,

I recently switched distributions to Red Hat 5.1. Since I had been using
LyX 0.12.0, I was eager to try out 1.0.0pre2.

I used the normal configure/make/make install procedure and everything
seemed to go just fine. When I tried to use the executable, it complains
that it can't find headers for libc5 (RH5.1 is glibc2, but has libc5 as
well). I am suspecting that the problem lies in that the C++ compiler is
egcs, and the regular C compiler can be used as gcc or egcs. I have
looked through the makefiles and the configure script, but I can't seem
to find a fix there. I have also consulted the archives of the User's
list and can't find anything there.

Please help! Am I looking in the wrong spots, is there a simple fix?
Thanks in advance! :-)

Sean
