This may not be the simplest possible solution, but at least it worked for
me . The only exception are pages that begin a new chapter in the
document class "Report"; they have the page number in the bottom. Select
pagestyle "Fancy" from Document Layout and put the following lines to your
LaTeX preamble:
\chead{\thepage}
\lhead{}
\rhead{}
\lfoot{}
\rfoot{}
\cfoot{}
\renewcommand{\headrulewidth}{0pt}
Without the last line you get a horizontal line under the page number.
