Hi,
I posted this question earlier, but got no answer...
I frequently have problems telling whether there are spaces around a math
inset in the text. For example, if I type "{0}" in math mode, it seems
that there is a space after the right brace, e.g. in the sentence:
{0} is the set whose only element is 0.
This happens enough times that I get paranoid and check repeatedly all
spaces (when I have energy) or that I get no spaces around math insets
(when I have less energy and am fooled by the appearance).
One suggestion is to have some marker for spaces around math insets, e.g.
_{0}_ where the underscores would be in the glorious pink colour used by
Lyx for similar stuff (\hfill, protected blank etc.).
I would like to know if I'm the only one having this difficulty.
Thanks everyone,
Stefano
