Hi,
I met the same problem. It is even worse: If you try to include the
generated eps-file into a latex document and try to print the
respective dvi-file, you will get an empty figure printed.
Unfortunately, I did not find the correct solution since I was unable
to locate the clear command in the bulk of W95 definitions. My
workaround (fast and dirty):
Display the figure with gv in maximal magnification so that it fits
onto the screen. Then grab the screen using xv. xv can export an
eps-file which is usable with latex. If the printed figure is small
compared to your screensize, the loss in resolution is tolerable.
