Hi all

I posted a question concerning inserting figures into LyX that was created
in the win95 environment. My problem was that the figure overwrote some of
the preceeding paragraph with a white fill.

I've finally found a way to insert the figures without problems (sofar) and
I'm posting it here - if anyone cares (who uses MS anyway ). This is the
method:

1. The figure is printet to a postscript file in the app. Be sure to have
the figure fill the entire page (fit to page - or change the page setups).
This is what solved my problem with the white space.
Print using the Postscript output format "Encapsulated PostScript" without
any CTRL-D's in the data format.

2. Convert the PS file to EPS in GhostView, using the command PS to EPS.
Don't let the prog. calculate the boundingbox automagically - it dosn't
allways work.

3. Insert the figure into LyX as usual.

I hope this helpes someone

Klaus
