correspondence between accentuated upper case and lower case letters

Hello,

How could I make LyX display � L�CHER � instead of � L�CHER � when the 
word is in small caps (the accentuated upper case � is displayed as
lower case).  Note that the printed result (dvi & ps) are
OK.
