Linebreaking in Section

Hello, 
I have the problem that I have a long title for a section.
In a line is the last word too long even after hyphenation. So I want to break
the line in front of the word.  \\ doesn�t match because I loose the
formatting and I get a linebreak in the TOC.
Any hints?
